Just got my GVM upgrade engineered today in Sydney. Took the ute there. They put it on the scales for the new tare weight.
Checked the part numbers on the suspension matched up with the ARB documents. I have prado front coils in the front.
Guy was happy with that, same spring rate so was all good. Measured it to the guard was 40mm lift with AFN bar and winch.

If you’re going to get it done, take the ute empty, if you have a removable canopy. Take it off. If you’re over 2500kg tare you go up into the next price bracket for rego in NSW. Took about 2hrs.

The engineer said ARB is the easiest kit to engineer because he can get all their data freely. Pedders and Lovells don't want to release their data.
Had aftermarket upper control arms on, no issues with that.

If anyone needs after 1st rego GVM upgrade in NSW, PM me and I will pass on his details. So much paper work at his end for a simple modification.

I have a 2015 cc and had the suspension upgraded to an efs 450kg constant loading because of the touring we do. I also have a aluminium canopy and tray, ecb (non winch) alum bullbar and arb long range tank. I am currently seeking gvm upgrade from an engineer because I was blind to gvm upgrades. This results in a moderate load plus driver having the veh at 2900kg. That means I cant fill my tank or put my wife and fridge on board without going over the gvm, let alone hook the trailr up with 200 kg towball weight. Be careful and get the gvm upgrade done at the same time, ask when you get the work done if they can upgrade your plate, if not, go somewhere they can.
