Nah...no worries there Danno...the Toyota mob love a bit of constructive criticism...don't they :?:
I didn't check to see if the Toyota had discs brakes at the rear...I find it hard to believe they do, maybe someone stuffed up, but then again the SLWB has a RRP of well over $50k...almost as much as a Troopy but it's got even less in it!!
I'd prefer an Hyundai but the petrol one is lacking in features so unless they update it I can't get it.

Since this thread about Koni shocks has been horrendously hijacked, I may as well keep it going!

You need to buy one of these cheap Chinese vans...

LDV G10. ZF 6 speed auto, turbo petrol motor, cruise control, rear disc brakes.... $29,990 drive away.

And it has 2 air bags for safety!

Aussie
He could then fill the rear with Helium balloons and then talk funny after any bump/collision.
Ready made airbags with real meaning.

DISCLAIMER : Be careful reading this as you could be offended ( or SURPRISED) because I LIKE my Koni shock absorbers. :D
Yeah..it has been hijacked but that's OK. I looked at them but all diesels as far as I remember. I think a short wheelbase Hiace might be the go. I found a MY16 one with less than 20k on it, auto, petrol for around $34. That might be the sort of thing I end up getting. this time I will be doing next to nothing.
I am hoping Hyundai do an update in the next 18 months. Maybe I could buy a truck , I mean a REAL truck, and whack a big box on it as you can get new little ones for less than a ute. I saw one the other day for $39,990...new. Now that's another thing that pi..es me off.....the price of utes...... :D ;)
