Get rid of auto correct/alias 'auto mistake" it is useless and doesn't even help if you can't spal. I love the posts where they say they are" defiantly" using good oil.

My SAX suspension has now done 135K and still has their shocks on, I think they are Lovells. It still rides ok but probably needs an upgrade.
I would like to put a set of King MRR shocks on, but a $4000 a set don't think the boss will be allowing that. Especially fter what we spent lately.
Anyway what I am saying is the shocks that are on it now are probably a good buy to.

Shocks are consumables.

The oil wears and also absorbs moisture over time. O-rings, seals and bushes also wear.

It all happens gradually until one day you notice there's little rebound damping - the front end goes up, and down and up again.

The rougher the roads the quicker the wear. Shocks are a device for converting movement to heat and the heat trashes the oil.

With the Dobinson MRRs on the front of my MUX, rebound damping started to weaken by 20 K (and that's over a lot of rough roads) and was poor by 30 K. But they can be rebuilt.
