Hi Duck I ran two sets of General grabber at 2s on my Prado 265/65 then 265/70 when they became legal. Brilliant tyre would recommend them but they are being replaced with Grabber at 3s and I don't like the tread pattern.
As for the Dmax the standard tyres still have plenty of tread at 22K so still have time to make a choice. I like the look of the original mags and bought a spare so I can rotate them and get the best wear. 255/65 or 265/70 Decisions Decisions

Toyo Open Country AT II's

My first set did 2 years in the Vic high country, no dramas and performed incredibly - even through the cold (slushy ice & mud).

My second set has just completed a lap of Australia and with nearly 5,000kms of that off-road we didn't come across a single puncture.

I just put on KO2's i. 265/75/16 seem to be OK, most tyres now give you around that 70k + more about how they handle the wet & offroad when deflated so don't really know yet. Good luck with your choice. I'm
