Getting set up for further adventures. After camping all my life, have finally upgraded to a caravan with many mod cons.
It's a good match for my D-Max.
17.5ft, weight about 1.8T.
Escape over Easter with fuel economy just under 12L/100km. Was taking it easy.
Am looking for the sweet spot with the auto, should be about the 1800rev mark.
Carol and I loved the A/C, normally cannot camp this time of year in Darwin with 35 C and 70 % + humidity.

Look forward to many more W/E trips around here to iron out any bugs in the van.
Chris

Also have a look at these ones from the Ute Canopy Co - http://theutecanopyco.com.au/products/isuzu/ - they have a bunch of different styles with sides and without

Hey Scampers. Just purchased my new LS_M and am looking at reversing cameras. I want one that I can use to line up the tow ball with the van and also that would connect to the camera on the van.
I havent looked at wireless ones because people I have talked to say they are useless. What has yours been like and if you still like it what make is it?
Cheers Geoff

The reversing camera I used is from JayCar, their own brand, "Response", dead easy to install.
Can take 2 camera's, ie:- one for the back of the ute and another for the Van. You can switch between the 2.
I've had it for 18 months now, I have a caravan, boat and 6 x 4 trailer, as well as general reversing. Had no issues.
Have the camera set up on the ball as well as behind. Put the ball under the trailer cup every time.

I would recommend having at least a 5in screen or bigger, cause these days we like all our screens big.
Put the ute in reverse and you see whats behind your car. Pictures good and in colour.
