Pulled the panel down and squeezed the back of it together and push forward, then cut out all the internals with a dremel.

Problem is you can't see it there when you're driving without moving over to have a look and of course if you need to push it in an emergency good luck getting to it fast.

No problem with the location so far, feels quite ergonomic to me. so far i havent needed to look at dial to push it any time its been required, its just there when you reach down.

Been awhile since i have done anything, installed the icom uhf on the weekend,located under the centre console, and hard wired some constant power aux outlets for the front and back.

Couldn't buy usb outlet for the phone so knocked one up using a 3.1 amp cigarette plug and a blank, hard wired for constant power, phones sit nicely in the storage compartment below.

Started to fab up a rear rack for the tray 76mm exhaust pipe, brackets folded up, just need to drill and weld them on.
