I flipped the old original pipe and used the longer one of theirs, no leaking, but its not a super tight fit like the original, i will monitor it.

One would hope that they supply the correct bits, shouldn't be that hard should it ?
So the long pipe is the wrong bend. and to big and the shorter hose is no good at all ? Don't suppose you took a photos with using supplied hoses ?

No pics, but both their hoses would fit, just the original fits tighter.

No problems with any hoses leaking at the moment.

Asking if it catches much poses the question. If it is, what lube oil is being used. Crap oil quality mists more and so there is more to catch. Crap oil quality also allows more blowby, thereby causing more of the increased oil mist density to be carried away more than ever before.
So, how well the can works is one thing but oil has an enormous effect on what is delivered to a catch can to be caught in the first place.
Therefore you can't judge a catch can performance unless the oil quality is known and all with catch cans use the same oil under same conditions.

People in Winter Tassie will be quite different to those in FNQ or running around Birdsville towing a van.

Got a small bit on my finger off the bottom of the dipstick this morning, approx 600k since the can went in.

I only use and will only ever use premium oils, others may skimp and save, use only quality oils, don't cut corners.

Every ones amount of mist collected will differ, as long as i am picking up some, i am happy with that.
