It's gone started using oil @ 2.5ltr every 10,000k and have to drain the catch can every 800k around 150ml each tine
Sad to see it go only 50,000k pulled everything off it, left the long range tank though to hard to take it out (lazy)
Got $32000 trade in so got cash back on a Suzuki Grand Vitara 3door it'll make a good runaround till we work out what to buy to replace the Dmax, maybe a Jeep  ha ha (shoot me if I ever do that)

What oil did you use in the engine? Who serviced the vehicle, self or dealer?

If serviced away from home perhaps the oil used by somewhere else was poor quality.
For how long did the increased usage happen for.

If not investigated, rash decisions can occur.

Been loosing power when towing 14ft 2150kg van, bad when another dmax passes with a bigger van and I'm flat out
Just got a bad one (Friday motor) the rest is still fine, so the money was good took the offer
Just didn't want the problem of what they wanted to do and be without wheels in the meantime it's still under warranty for 3years
Still look at one in the future but will wait to see the next gen ones

They were trying to work out what to do with it
It's logged to it, so if the next owner gets it serviced a the dealer it will show up on the system
