Hi, Looks pretty good, how does the front wheels lock to lock go, does it hit or miss.
Also how is your speedo reading now with the different tyres on it.

Nice. Good to see a bit of dirt on it :D

Yeah, I fitted 265/70R but in a 16 as I have the M and the extra size does look better plus gives that little extra height.

Look forward to reading of your future mods.

Yep thanx im happy with them..

Dave
closest it gets is rear of the front tyre to the chassis which is 18-20mm clearance at full lock.
the 265/70 R17 BFG AT are overall diameter 804 so they fit in ok.
I checked my speedo before I went in to get the tyres with a Lowrance globalnav 12 hand held gps and it was 6 to 7 k's under what it said on the speedo.

I checked the next day after I got the new bfg's and its 1/2 a k to spot on what the speedo says.

Need to be dirty don't they Tink its what they were ment for........ :D

Next challenge is finding front recovery points........

Cheers guys........

What front recovery points you going with? I can't seem to find any. Mob I thought had some coming, couldn't get their original design certified so now months away.

The brand is Ultimate
had no problems with it very happy with it
- Side windows open upwards
- rear is linked up to the central locking on the dmax
-has a demister on the rear window aswell
Had it fitted at the dealer, they had one on a display dmax in there showroom liked it and ordered one.

ARB abandoned the idea, couldn't find a strong enough point, said that the chassis couldn't take it at the front.

I was looking at the 265/70/R17 BFG's AT as well. Any noticeable drop in acceleration/power etc with the extra diameter?
