Both the D-Max and MU-X can develop cracks in the body, in particular in the engine bay sill - in the left side in the D-Max and right side in the MU-X.

If this has happened to you I'd be keen to hear from you. Anything you tell me will be anonymous if you wish.

I'm taking action against IUA over cracks and can share what I've learned.

Hey Muxxer you might find this of interest
Apparently in today's Herald Sun Carsguide there is a article about faults with some of the popular 4WD Utes , Hilux , Ranger and Isuzu get a mention for the cracked guards .

Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks.
Yes, the journos are taking the issue up with Isuzu.

This is the upshot of my case.

I sued IUA in VCAT (Victoria) and reached a confidential settlement that I'm happy with.

The VCAT process is designed to make access to justice available to everyone. I found it user-friendly, efficient and affordable.

Any owner with cracks who wants a copy of the independent engineer's assessment of my vehicle can PM me. Include photos of your problem.

(Apologies for the duplicate post).
