I have a ECB bullbar on my 2015 Dmax, and my mechanic told me that he cannot find a recovery point that can fit onto the front. It appears the ECB uses all bolt holes and the ARB RP will not fit. I tried ringing ECB for guidance, and they referred me to Opp. Lock. After the third phone call, and three promises to ring me back, I gave up.
Does anyone have an ECB bullbar fitted, and do they have an aftermarket recovery point ? We are going to the Cape in May/June/July, and want to have all our recovery options covered. Many thanks in advance. Willy.

Old post but FWIW ... the radiator mounts are in the way of fitting aftermarket recovery points. I took mine to an engineer who fabricates custom plates.
The factory points on my MUX are supposed to be good for c 3 tonnes joined by a bridle. That should be OK for an average sand recovery eg.

Those 'tie-downs' being the week points on my ute, are you able to provide any authority for that? Maybe an updated Isuzu owner's manual or something?
Otherwise, do you have any details of the bridle? Total length, sliding coupling, allowable angle of pull, whatever?
thx

ARB and Roadsafe recovery points don’t seem to have a problem with the radiator mounts :o

And what stress testing, load angle testing etc. did this “engineer” perform to certify his “plates” as being rated for a snatch recovery?

Where do Isuzu say that? The only info I can find is that Isuzu rate them as tow hooks, not recovery hooks and do not mention anything about a bridle.
