vindor wrote: Thanks for the advice guys. Much Appreciated. For those who have a Scangauge, where have you installed it? A photo would help! Consider the Ultragauge if you want something that's easier to read and doesn't look like 90's tech. Also remember that to be accurate for fuel and speed/distance all the OBD2 type readouts have to be calibrated to the car. People seem to forget that. |

My Scangauge 11 sits on top of the dashmat secured with velcro. When I brought mine the Ultragauge was still new and I was not certain if it would work, i knew the SC11 did work. Attachment:

My SC11 shows the same speed as my Garmin GPS in my Patrol with out any calibration , I think it did in the Dmax as well , fuel , distance to m/t ect , I didn't bother with that . |

Pure luck. Change tyre or rim size and all bets are off. I have had to recalibrate for the three different sized tyres I have run on the Dmax. Only a little but a few percentage points nonetheless for both size changes but about 7% from smallest to largest. Tink |

LOL I bet you didn't bother with fuel settings in the Nissan......better to not know ![]() ![]() It sure is different in many ways compared to that Dmax , it's very comfortable Cruise's very nicely so far it's not to bad on fuel , I have just clocked up 10k it's averaged 14.4 lt x 100k , worked out by the distance and fuel used , computer usually shows .6 to 1lt better . I have only had it in real 4WD country one time and haven't towed the Tvan yet , but we are about to hook it up and drive to Malanda to deliver a Tvan ( not ours ) and drive home not towing , should be a interesting comparison. |
