G'day Forum - I've been scratching around - what to do, what to do, and seems that fitting FWH to my 2010 build might be a good idea. It seems that the Aisin hubs are superior to aftermarket but have to be obtained from wrecked equipment. I understand the hubs from the Rodeo will be OK but can anyone tell me what other makes would have worn Aisin hubs that would be a straight swap (I think Triton was mentioned somewhere ?). Thought there would likely be someone out there who has either the knowledge or practical experience to help me with the search. Also if there are any pitfalls or tricks for old players (smile) - any solid info will be very much appreciated. Cheers.

Hi. i run AVM FWH's on my 2014 Dmax. they seem to be working fine.
I have seen some AISIN FWH on Amazon, pretty cheap to.

You can get the AVM H/D ones from http://www.terraintamer.com/en/4wd-products/avm-hubs

Cheers
Dave

I fitted AVM hubs , I wish I had of taken the time to find some Aisin Hubs , there are a couple of big 4x4 wreckers around here .

The main thing with the AVM hubs , is you can't check if the main bolts have come loose without removing the outer bit .

I guess if you don't stuff up and use that bloody gasket you probably won't have to .
