Hi
Does any body know how many litres it takes to fill up a 2013 Dmax Auto transmission.
I am buying 20 litres of Mobil ATF 3309

The old model required 8.7 litres but the newer shape with 5 speed auto may be a bit more. 20litres is plenty because if doing a full flush of all auto fluid, ie, flushing out torque converter too, will use approx 15 or more litres until it runs clean.
If fluid is similar colour, it must be done to ensure a full replacement of fluid.
All depends on who does it and how well they actually flush the system as to what is used.
Most places DO NOT fully flush autos at any time. Mostly they do a pan drain and refill, which is bugger all and near useless but claim the auto fluid has been changed.

PS, don't depend on the specs for volume amount, rely on the flush and then when it overflows from level point.
