Gday all. I kinda know this has been discussed on the D-Max side of things. But has anyone found a easy place to mount a UHF. I have a small Uniden I had in my 08 Colorado. And would like to put it in this as its in perfect working order and I dont really want to buy another UHF.
Ive seen a couple of pics. One was in the Sunglasses holder next to the interior light. But that would take some work getting the aerial lead to. I assume you could power it off the interior light wiring. But I dont like hand piece lines hanging down.
Only place I can see that is of some relative ease, is under the steering wheel adjustment mount. Relatively open at the back for wiring and such.
So has anyone come up with any other ideas?
Cheers
Craig

If you don't have a bullbar, why not use a Z bracket down the left side of the bonnet, did that on my old Challenger and worked fine
