if you want to get your atf reading on an ultra gauge you need to modify a mgauge to:

tData: 07E2221940
TCtrl: 93
RCtrl: 31
RPos: 2008
Mtch: 621940
X: 0001/ 0001 +FFD8
Out Format: 0
Ave: 0
Left/Right: 31

That matches the programming in mine so should be sweet!

Hi everyone, I've read of being able to reset from limp mode using some of these scan tools. Do the Scangauge/Ultragauge support this?

Yes the UltraGauge in mine that I was advised to buy has been used a number of times for limp mode codes. Recently on the road I had to swap out a dead car battery and when I disconnected the old battery and reconnected the new, the egine warning lights come on and traction control lights etc and the Dmax went into limp mode, which was accompanied by a rough idle. I cleared the code using the Ultragauge easy enough. But last weekend when disconnecting the battery terminals so I could pull my broken winch out of the bullbar, when I reconnected everything again it again went into limp mode. Whilst again I could clear the codes, is there any reason it is doing this. It doesn't happen any other time.

I am trying to get my UltraGauge to show my auto transmissions temperature on my 2015 D-Max. I googled and found the codes and entered them but it does not work. I must have misunderstood something. Attached is a photo of what I have entered, can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong, or even better if you have a photo of an UltraGauge that actually works.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Your problem is with the RPOS value. It should be 2008 for the Ultragauge. 3008 is used for the Scangauge, so it looks as if you have a bastardised version.

Cheers
Geoff

If you change the Left/Right value to 30 the displayed value will be in whole numbers only.

Ah yes, that's what I have. Did you get it working?

Hi, we have a 2016 dual cab D Max four wheeler and are towing a 2.7 t gross caravan from Tassie up to Darwin via the Big Red Bash.I've just bought a Scangauge II and looked through pages in this forum for the ATF temp codes to put into it, I found that one and it gives me a read out, thanks tink for that one.
Can anybody tell me the codes for the,
1 engine coolant.
2 if it will read the EGT
3 volts
4 I found how to get it to show boost instead of MAP. But it is on a different screen to where the ATF temp is showing. I'm hoping to be able to get, the ATF, the coolant temp, boost and EGT showing all on one screen instead of having to scroll through pages whole driving. Any hints????

Cheers Kanga
