Hi like minded souls
I'm new to this forum, I have a 2016 D max space cab 4x4 auto.
I am fitting an OEM Isuzu snorkel. Does anyone have an install / build pics or video on the Isuzu snorkel.
I have fitted Land Rover snorkel previously, just after some heads up tips.
There a great vehicle though Isuzu should be fitting a locking rear diff as standard or an option.
The competition do !

You'll only find walkthroughs for Safari snorkels on here and stick your location into your profile for us please mate.

Welcome to the forum.

Isuzu actually do fit a locking rear diff, vacuum operated, but in South Africa. Shame it is not available in Oz.

Re the fitting of the snorkel, allow two full days. Cut the guard and drill any fitting holes, then touch up with gal paint. Fit the inlet to the airbox and seal with silicon but leave for as long as possible, at least overnight, before fitting the rest of the snorkel. Ensures a good seal.

Probably because most of the factory snorkels are fitted at the dealership and those of us that fitted our own tended towards the Safari for various reasons although the factory snorkel is easier to fit as you don't have to enlarge the hole to the airbox which is a bit of a pita.

When I had my snorkel fitted with my new D-Max in 2013, the factory snorkel was the only one available!

I like the ARB ones, they always make good quality gear. Maybe I should have waited. But, mine is leased and it needed to fitted at purchase/pickup time to be included, so I couldn't wait for another mob to release one.

Doesn't answer the question, but taking things easy as Tink says and ensuring all your cut metal is treated and covered so it will not rust is absolutely worth it!
