 Post subject: Removing rear seat

I want to remove the drivers side rear seat lower section, so I can build a fridge base for an upcoming trip.
Has anyone done it.
I need the rear passenger side for my daughter.

Yeah I did that. Just pop the trim off the outside hinge and just undo the nuts/bolts, same with the inside then remove, it may take some effort and maybe a long screwdriver to remove from memory and you have to partly reassemble the inner and outer so the other side backrest & base continues to work and may need spacers to do so (long time ago..), note/take photos where all the spacers are during disassembly of the hinges.
It is a bit of a hassle and not something I'd want to do to often.
