Has anyone got their dpf mapped out?
If so how much did it cost?
Any issues experienced afterwards?
Thanks ;)

And please don't contaminate this topic with bs like pollution and legality

I don't know what knowledge you have of engine systems but you can't "map out" a DPF. Yes you may be able to turn off the ECU control and recognition of it, but the item itself is a physical filter/particle catcher in the exhaust stream. Even if you did the control aspect the filter would still simply block up and constipate the engine.
Anyone with a small understanding of modern engines would easily see if it has been tampered with or removed, then it costs you.

Ofourse the filter is physically there but it can be gutted and put back. I live in a small town where nobody is interested in checking such things anyways

If the internals are removed, then the filter isn't there at all, only it's shell.
SO, a small town is impervious to travelling checks from EPA and other authorities is it?
Do you propose not to travel anywhere?

Roadside, ifrared and other detection which can read exhaust gas content left behind a vehicle can analyse many things.

Thanks for your imput but i'm not here to discuss the legality of it. Looking for relevant information from real people who have done it which I'm sure there's plenty of..I'm sure the tuning shop would only tell me what I want to hear
