I'm getting a new tandem axle trailer for taking to nasty rocky places. It comes with Goodride LT tyres, and I'll get at least one extra spare.
Seeing as how tyres are our biggest expense & vulnerability, should I replace them straight away, or are they OK?

G'day Garry
The name Goodride sounds like a Chinese way of saying, we copied Goodyear. Do they have a sidewall and traed ply rating to gauge the durability?is the rubber tough to the touch, ie, similar to knownbrands if trying to scuff or tear the rubber surface?
Many chinese tyres seem to have not much sidewall bulge and may avoid sidewall damage ok, as for the tread puncture resistance it is a bit unknown I suppose.

Yep Chinese, LT.
Hard to tell - remember when Made in Japan meant crap, until it didn't.

My 1.4t camper had Chinese tyres. Took it over a lot of very rough dirt. No punctures in 6 years. Always dropped my trailer’s tyre pressure to the same as the vehicle’s rear tyres when off the black top.
