Our Dmax had the same issue as your with banging from LHS but mainly when going around a LH corner.

Looked for it for a while but never found it as sold the vehicle, but always wondered what was causing it .

Might be easier to get an as new 4x4 if you need more traction for work sites or a bit of off road .
