Re: ARB suspension

Hi Josh. I have 300 constant in the back put in about 4 years ago. It did settle over time but it was very high for the first few months and higher than my liking for around 12 months. Almost needed my missus step ladder to get a beer out of the fridge. A few camping trips and a some kays under its ...

Re: Suspension seats

I would have thought the height of the cab may restrict choice to a degree on getting a good suspension seat. But I have a stuffed back and am following with interest. My neighbour here in NT is an ISRI distributor as a side business, diesel mechanic by trade. Whilst he reckons the seats are comfy, ...

Re: G'day from Adelaide

Apologies to Tony for hijacking his thread. The NT coppers don't have the radars or lasers hard mounted in all cars. Speeding is 4th or 5th on list of cause of loss of life here and unofficially we are given about a 5-7% leeway with speed which is sensible, as they have more pressing priorities. Mos...

Re: G'day from Adelaide

I should clarify Mydmax. What I meant is not all police cars have radar fitted (well not where I am) So if you are driving along and went past them say on a motorway. If I was using GPS but the police were relying on their speedo kind of scenario they may think you are speeding if their vehicles are...

Re: G'day from Adelaide

I pretty much solely use the Garmin speed reading too. Living in Darwin, its handy to travel at the true legal speed when we drive to Brisbane or Melbourne etc on our limited time during school holidays knowing that the Victorian copper hiding up a tree with his speed gun won't ping you doing 1 or 2...

Re: G'day from Adelaide

Hi Mydmax. It looks like we were both a bit off mate. I double checked after posting here, it's 4km/100 based only on a couple of tanks. Apologies for the bumsteer to the OP. And I guess it depends on how accurate the Garmin satnav is as it doesn't get reception in underground car parks where I work...

Re: G'day from Adelaide

Looks schmiko !! Your speedo will be spot on when you put bigger tyres on it. Looks great mate. You will love it. The fuel economy is great on it. With mine decked out with bars, canopy, extra battery and a suspension lift I am still geting 10.5l/100 around town. The speedo at 100 showed as 93kph o...
