Re: Ac controls

Oh man, I had this issues just recently when I changed my head unit out. Could not for the life of me get those knob control cable plugged back in! TAKE IT OUT The easiest way to resolve was to pull the whole hvac unit/panel totally out (tip; unclip the fresh air level behind glovebox) and then work...

Re: Cracked brake pads

Interesting...I'm at about 66k now... Been putting up with squealing brakes for about 20k, that's one thing, But I also notice shudder under heavy brake loads, but I put it down to aftermarket wheel/tyre combo, perhaps not! I'll get them to look at the pads and for warped rotors on next service for ...

Re: Winch Install - please show me yours

I think the point has been missed. The Bush Winch is an alternative option and in my opinion it appears to be a pretty good one. My thought is, if I "think" I may need it, I'd fit the nuts, grab it from the shed and bring it along on my trip. But I actually plan to never have to use it. If you are a...

Re: Winch Install - please show me yours

^^^^ Brilliant Garry. Thanks.
Ingenuity at it's god damn best there.
I never "invested" in a winch and to this date have not needed one.
But I will definitely look at this BUSH WINCH thing. Again awesome!

Re: Opinions please.

I got the TOYO in size 275/65R17 (8" inch rims). So far so good, very quiet for AT, confident in wet but only a couple k so far with no off-road just yet. They appear to be on the aggressive side for an AT, so looking forward to off-road testing them soon. I also have only heard mostly good things a...

Re: Just for anyone who may be of like mind

Hi rickyrocket. Well done on the self servicing. Wish I was as brave as you. Those clips you speak of break when you look at touching them. The provent/egr thing is well documented in these forums, so I will keep my reply short, on my experiences... I have had a provent 200 installed since before 20...
