Re: Genuine Canopy, any thoughts?
When I looked at a canopy for my 2011 I decided against a Razorback because of the weight factor as it would use up some of the payload/spring ability. Also cost more too.

2012/13 shock performance
Just interested to know how the shocks on the new models are performing. The earlier model had shocks which are entirely unsuited to the vehicle, they didn't control the suspension very well at all, the front wallowed and the rebound control was/is almost non existant and allowed the front wheels to...

G'day Salty
Have you fitted decent shock absorbers to yours yet? If you tow a van it must be a bag of worms if the OE shocks are still fitted.

Re: 2013/2014 Models
I hope all you blokes don't really believe any of the modern range of utes is really suited to tow 3500kg loads. Dmax will now, because Mazda and Ford are claiming theirs will. I believe the Ford/Mazda is more capable to do it though. It is still a large load for that size vehicle to control. I can ...

Re: G'day
I know this is intros, but, I like all the sources where info relating to vehicles comes from. AN airbag is triggered by deceleration, it has a decelerometer to detect what is happening, and if there is sufficient deceleration likely to injure occupants then the airbag deploys. I can't see how it ch...

Probably dealer won't disconnect things like that as the have to cover their backsides, so won't even try if they do know. You don't see dealers with cast iron undies for protection so No it will be.

Re: Key In Ignition Beeper
Although you can lock all doors manually and get out and close the last door, IT should NEVER lock the doors if the key is still in ignition. Has that happened to you? It will always lock itself if you have the keys and although it is unlocked it notices you have somehow pressed "unlock" and so will...

Re: Genuine accessories price list
Simon You can use a SAKURA filter, it is the same as a Ryco "short Z600". I won't use Ryco but Sakura are good so whatever is the equivalent of a short Z600 in Sakura is what you require. Sorry can't find the Sakura number. Less than 1/2 price of Dmax filters but come from same manufacturer. For nor...

Re: Climate Control, is it really available?
I'm not a lover of BLING and an upgraded stereo/sound isn't a priority, neither is the Climate control, and a GPS which you can't take anywhere with you and may, as BT 50 has, 5 year old maps which don't show any new/latest roads interchanges and suburbs in town and cities, is just buying stuff beca...

Re: Climate Control, is it really available?
Aircon yes, but why is climate control worth paying more money for and what advantage is it apart from slightly more even distribution.
Unfortunately, it is also a whole lot more complicated but uses the same basic stuff as Aircon does..
