Workshop Manual - First Steps to Translation

Post by DiscoSteve »

People may remember me posting a link to an ozisuz thread linking to a DMAX Workshop Manual in Thai
http://www.ozisuzu.com.au/index.php/topic,155.0.html

Here is the direct download to the non-password protected version I grabbed
http://stevenicklin.com/downloads/DMAX% ... 20Thai.pdf

Well I've translated every single table of contents page into English
http://stevenicklin.com/downloads/DMAX% ... 0Index.pdf

At least you can find the right section of the manual and from there Google Translate the bits you need

I'm not committing to finishing this but I've started working through the first few sections to see how easy it is to reconstitute into English.
Its a slowwwww job - its taken me half an hour to do 9A-2,3,4 and 5 ...

also, some thai words don't translate very well - for some reason the word for a headlamp translates as 'cleaner'

Hello Steve!

This is really awesome! What a lot of work to do. That's the one, we all waited for. Thank you very much. I hope it's okay for you, that i publish the link to this thread in our German D-Max Board.

Maybe, if i find the mood and time, i'll translate it from english into german language.
