I'm considering making the bars for the arb canopy for the roof tent as the ones they supply (Thule I think) are way too high by about 2" and there's no reason for it, and the 60kg up there doesn't need to be any higher.

Will the mesh shade the solar panels too much? Just a random thought.

Its not gunna be for looks it will be a 200 w panel and stick out 200 mm each side 50 x 50 3 mm square wire mesh so shade willl be bugger all just enough to Hang a swag up there.

Hey Guys,
I need to ask for help regarding the fitting of kit of these bars the kit is supposed to be K671 and screws into Nutzerts that are in the roof of our cars.

Well just to double check I rang Isuzu Aus and they told me that I had to ring a dealer and talk to their service department, this I did and spoke to the service manager, gave him all my trucks details and he said that some Dmax's have the Nutzert and others do not, can someone tell me if a LSU (2014) dual cab has these installed for sure.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had them installed if there was any problem with these units at all.

there's a thread about this. IIRC SX's are the only ones that you have to drill holes in.
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.
