I can't find any plug to stop the buzzer in a 2015 LS-T... :(

It is keyless entry and push button start.

Anyone found how to stop it in the same model?

LOL you might be stuck with it, are you sure it isn't there? it can be hard to see, otherwise your stuck with what is regarded as possibly the most irritating feature of the DMax.

Definitely no plug there. :(

I just run the stereo at a volume where I can't hear the 'ding'. :)

I thought that the keyless entry means there is no ignition key hole. just the push button :?

It does Bob - but the b****** still 'dings' when you turn the accessories on. :(

The push button works like this:

Foot on the brake and press the 'Start' button - engine starts

No foot on the brake and press the 'Start' button - radio and 12V sockets and the bloody 'ding'
The above and hit the button a second time - full accessories (windows, etc) and the 'ding' stops.

For those of us not mechanically gifted.

How do you pull the plug off?
Mine seemed happy to move a few mm in any direction, but not actually come loose from anything. I was worried if I used more force I'd break something expensive.

So from
http://www.newd-max.net/viewtopic.php?f ... rt=10#p742
and the next post by Simon 24/12/14

In the top pic of
http://www.newd-max.net/viewtopic.php?f ... rt=10#p742
with the black, orange, black, green wires, pull the whole thing toward you. It all slips off a kind of knife-blade. Then you'll see what you can't see in the pix - the other part of the plug, with 2 brown wires.

Turn the whole plug around so you can see the clip at the back, separate the 2 halves.

So the b,o,b,g wired part is separated from the br,br part.

Result
No beep with key in lock & door open.
No 4-door unlock when I pull the key out of the ignition.
The overhead light? I never leave it on by default, so dunno.

HTH.
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

Well I've joined the club unplugged the beeper on both our dmaxs. The silence is golden and I can have the radio on. All we have to do now is find out how to turn off that bloody seat belt alarm and I will be happy.

Yeah Alan that's just a plug/connector under the seat to silence that alarm and there's other topics on why you should or shouldn't do that and it usually starts a up a debate but not in this thread people.
