ambient temperature display not reading anything

Ambient temp sensor replaced and wiring checked all clear but still no display on the dash at all. Have been to dealers twice and auto elec once. Where's the best place to go next?

Introduce yourself a bit at least and then go back to Isuzu, it's a warranty issue.

I found the panel beaters had left the two plugs undone from the tow bar relays for the trailer lights etc. plugged back in. Reset ecu. All working again.

Yep, most vehicle problems after any work or even long time after any work or service is nearly always related to humanoids of some description. Lucky it wasn't a 737 on takeoff and airspeed unplugged. At least your Dmax doesn't nose down to eternity.
