rated recovery points 2022 Dmax with factory bullbar

Hi , first timer. Are rated recovery points available for my Dmax or am I looking at a aftermarket bull bar?

It might be best to first look at where the recovery points are bolted to and also where a bullbar is bolted to. My thought is a recovery point is bolted more in a straight line pull on the chassis itself, whereas a bullbar is bolted to the forward most area of the chassis, and usually higher than the chassis rail centreline. If trying to pull on the bullbar the chassis may be inclined to get bent downwards, unlike the more, straight pull of recovery points. Made for two different reasons. On many makes of vehicles, any "beautifully coloured" recovery points are easily seen well below the bullbar itself.

Thank you, it seems like the recovery points I've seen being sold have been bolted on to an area now used by the factory bull bar side bracing and unless some one has built a recovery to suit, it looks like I'm out of luck. I have not seen any to suit, perhaps others have done their homework and bought the car without the factory bull bar, looks like I'm going to be out of luck. The main 4x4 accessory stores tell me that they cannot help but quick to suggest I buy their bull bar etc $$$$$.

Hi, having the recovery tow points fitted next week at Opposite Lock , the purposely made fittings come from Road Safe Automotive based in Victoria. $ 650.00 supplied and fitted.
